Ellie grew up around aviation in a RAF family and spent her childhood living in Scotland, the Falkland Islands and the United States. When not travelling, she enjoys anything to do with the outdoors and is often hiking or climbing.

Ellie studied History and Archaeology at university in Alabama and continues to work in the heritage sector in her free time. She is a keen reader and always eager to learn new things. When not helping with the flying school operations, she can be found in the hangar learning new skills from the rest of the Freedom team.
