Training
Ground School
We offer one day ground school courses for all subjects in the PPL syllabus. You will be taught by one of our knowledgeable subject instructors in a comfortable and friendly environment. Our programmes include classroom presentations, interactive lessons, and practical demonstrations, ensuring you are fully prepared to take your exam. At the end of each day you will have the opportunity to sit the exam whilst the information is fresh in your mind.
Our ground school days start promptly at 09:00, and you can either bring your own lunch or purchase lunch from AV8, Cotswold Airport’s on-site restaurant. For our navigation ground school days, ensure you bring a flight computer (Pooleys CRP1 or CRP5 preferred), 4 colours of permanent fine pens (which can be purchased from us), a 1:500,000 CAA VFR chart, a rule (scale 1:500,000), and a protractor (preferably with 13mm template hole drilled).
